 A partnership of the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Arts Council, the free event provides an opportunity for the public to view and celebrate fine art. Original juried artwork by local and regional artists, as well as artwork by Plymouth area high school students, will be featured in the art gallery and nearby classrooms at the community center.

Juried artwork remains on display in the Plymouth Community Center Art Gallery for public viewing for a few weeks after the event.

Open Art Studio and Woodcarvers Exhibit

December 12, 2025 - January 23, 2026

The Plymouth Open Art Studio is collective of artists who have experience with many different mediums including watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphite, pen, ink, pastel and even colored pencils.

Plymouth Woodcarvers is a self-proclaimed “social club with knives." A diverse group of whittlers, and wood carvers, this "open" carving group, invites members to work on whatever projects they choose.

The Gallery

The art gallery is on the first floor of the Plymouth Community Center near the Event Wing doors and Fieldhouse entrance. Free and open to the public 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily Directions

We are currently accepting applications for 2027. We have several standing exhibitions so there are a limited number of available exhibit slots each year. We (the Plymouth Arts Council and City of Plymouth) do our best to curate an entire season of gallery exhibits that feature quality art and attract a broad audience.
