The Plymouth Arts Council (PAC) is a non-profit organization that affiliates with the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department.
We started in 1995 through the effort of the City of Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department when a group of citizens with a common interest in visual and performing arts came together as “Plymouth Community Arts”.
We are a community resource that develops opportunities to share, learn, grow and express the arts. We actively partner with the City of Plymouth in realizing the full potential of the arts.
Our Goals are to:
• Develop and promote artistic learning experiences
• Support local artists in their creative endeavors
• Provide creative/artistic viewing opportunities
• Encourage participation by all residents and businesses in community arts programs
Plymouth Arts Council facilitates art exhibits in the Plymouth Creek Center and City Hall featuring a different artist each month. If you’re an adult artist interested in exhibiting your art in this program, please email us at email@example.com
The arts council sponsors the annual springtime Primavera celebration of the arts, including a juried art show with musical, literary and dramatic entertainment.
The City of Plymouth and PAC spotlight youth art during February when local elementary schools present a city art exhibit.
